Samson Salas, Sr.

Samson Salas, Sr., age 49, was called by our Lord Jesus Christ on October 1, 2014. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Eustolia Salas. He is survived by his father, Isaac Salas, Sr.; daughter, Samantha Rose Salas; sons, Samson (Vanessa) Salas, Jr., Stephen S. Salas, and John Andrew Salas; sisters, Ruth (Dr. Warren R.) Snyder, Norma (Danny) Roark, Maria Magdalena (David) Potter, and Annette (Henry) Del Llano; brothers, Isaac (Chris) Salas, Jr., Noe Salas, Gilbert Salas, Arnold (Chris) Salas, John Adam Salas, Mark (Sandra) Salas, and Robert Salas, three grandchildren, Javier, Roman, and River; and numerous nephews and nieces. Sam was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He was the "happiness" of his family. He always had kind inspirational words for everyone. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed all types of music. He will be dearly missed by all the lives he touched. The family will be receiving friends Monday, October 6, 2014, from 3 to 9 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port; with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm that evening. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at 10 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park. Pallbearers will include his brothers: Isaac, Gilbert, Arnold, John, Mark, and Robert; honorary pallbearer will be Noe.
