Santiago G. Guzman

Santiago G. Guzman, age 84, passed away on August 7, 2016. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He is preceded in death by his wife, Evinia Guzman; daughters, Sylvia Guzman, Gloria Guzman, and Norma C. Flores; parents, Roberto and Leonarda Guzman. Santiago is survived by his daughters, Rosalinda (Vidal, Jr.) Garza, Stella Guzman, and Carol Cavazos; sister, Aurora Carranza; brother, Ramiro Guzman; grandchildren, Santiago (Jimmy) Guzman, Vidal (Carmen) Garza, III., Stephanie (Aaron) Snodgrass, Anthony Garza, Adam Garza, and Evinia Nicole Cavazos, and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port; with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:30 pm. Rites of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Our Lady of Pilar Church; Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
