Sara A Guevara

Sara A. Guevara passed away on April 22, 2021 at the age of 55.  She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her. Sara taught Science and Social Studies in the Ben Bolt and Alice area and eventually retired as Special Education teacher. Sara enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, reading, music, hummingbirds, and making an impact on her students’ lives. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Gabriel J. Guevara; daughters, Priscilla Guevara and Mia Guevara; granddaughter, Emma Gonzalez; parents, Israel and Oralia Gonzalez; siblings, Priscilla Gonzalez, Noe (Yvonne) Gonzalez, and Alfredo (Denise) Vasquez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. A Memorial Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, April 30, 2021, at 2:00 PM followed by a Memorial Mass at 2:30 PM.
