Silverio C. Mora

Silverio C. Mora, age 89, passed away on February 5, 2016. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He served in the US Army was a WWII Veteran; and retired from the US Post office after 27 years. He will be dearly missed Silverio is preceded in death by his parents, Librado and Petra Mora; sister, Jesusa Perez; daughter-in-law, Sissy Mora; and mother- in-law, Victoria C. Pena. He leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Victoria C. Mora; children: Suzanna(Robert) Purdue, Silverio Mora, Jr., Samuel Mora, Mary Ann (Richard) Perez, Alicia (Roger) Palmer, Elias Castillo, Jr.; sister, Francisca Garza; brother, Marcelino (Mary) Mora; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 11:30 am; burial will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1 pm.
