Simon Salinas

Simon Salinas, born December 8, 1963 in Mathis, Texas to Librado Salinas, Jr. and Ramona Z. Lara, passed away on June 3, 2018 at the age of 54.

Simon was preceded in death by his parents, Librado Salinas, Jr. and Ramona Z. Lara, and one brother, Luis Martinka.

Survivors left to cherish his memories are his wife, Dubelia Salinas; daughters, Becky Flores, Rosa Flores, Kimberly Reyna, Cassandra Moya, and Jennifer Villarreal; sons, Simon Salinas, Jr., Scotty Salinas, and Jose Estrada; sisters, Elva Rios, Melba Rubalcaba, Beatrice Salinas, Alma Saenz, and Angelica Maria Zapata; brothers, Ricky Salinas and Michael Zapata; and stepfather, Edubijes Lara, Jr.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., from 5 to 9 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2018, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Descanso Eterno II Cemetery.
