Sofia Mata Gomez

Sofia Mata Gomez, passed away on February 12, 2017 at the age of 76. She was born on October 4, 1940 to Antonio and Sofia Mata. She was preceded in death by her son, Jesus Gomez; parents, Antonio and Sofia Mata; and two sisters. Sofia is survived by her husband, Saul Gomez; daughters, Caroline Enriquez, Diane Salazar and Magdalene Lopez; sons, Alexander Gomez, Saul Gomez, Jr. and Jose Antonio Gomez; sisters, Juanita Robles, Martha Sustaita and Leticia Mata; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5pm-9pm, Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port with a rosary to be recited at 7pm. Rites of Christian Burial will be at 10am, Friday, February 17, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
