Steven Thomas Quiroz

Steven Thomas Quiroz, aged 29, passed away on Thursday morning April 9, 2020.

He was born in Iowa City, Iowa on December 17, 1990.  His surviving parents are Patricia Aleman and Anthony Quiroz of Corpus Christi, Texas. His surviving grandparents are Mickey and Refugio Aleman of Victoria, Texas. He is survived by his partner, Mia Sara Sanchez and daughter Sophia Grace Quiroz; his sister, Lisa Dunne, Kevin Dunne her spouse and their children Inez and Diego; and his brother, Eric Quiroz and wife, Anndria Flores.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jane Quiroz who passed on January 1, 2002, and Rodolfo Quiroz who passed in September of 2012 as well as his Godmother, Evelyn Artero Cano. Evelyn’s husband, the godfather, Daniel Cano survives.

He was a lively and vibrant young man who everyone loved to be around.  He loved his time with family, especially his daughter-Sophia.  Steven also loved music and spending time in the kitchen challenging his brother to the best looking and tasting food on the planet.  The way he lit up a room and his infectious smile will be missed by all of us.

Due to the Coronavirus, a small viewing will be held on Monday morning at Trevino Funeral Chapel.
