Subrina I. Munoz, 56, of Corpus Christi, passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2026. Born on April 14, 1970, in Los Angeles, Subrina carried the spirit of the West Coast with her throughout her life — independent, strong-willed, warm-hearted, and unapologetically herself.

Subrina loved her family deeply, especially her boys, who were the center of her world. She found joy in cooking for the people she loved and had a personality that filled a room. She did things her own way and lived life on her own terms. Those who knew her will remember her fierce love for family, her sense of humor, her resilience, and the unmistakable presence she brought into every life she touched.

She is survived by her sons, Giovanni Munoz and his husband, Augustine, Joshua Martinez, and Damian Munoz-Martinez; her sister, Cindy Munoz and Cindy’s husband, Keith; her brother, Lawrence Munoz Jr.; and her nephews, Nicolas Munoz and Nathan Munoz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Munoz and Victoria Munoz.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, her memory will continue on through the lives she shaped and the love she gave so freely. In the years to come, especially when families gather and meals are shared, she will be remembered deeply and missed beyond words.

She will be loved always and forgotten never.
