Sylvia S. Barrera

Sylvia S. Barrera, age 68, passed away on June 26, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Barrera. Sylvia leaves behind her loving daughters, Diana (Naji) Osman, Marivel (Daniel) Platz, Lorraine (John) Jones, Eileen (Mark) Carbajal, Elaine (David) Hover, Cynthia (Albert) Reyes; 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Sonia De La Paz; brothers, Humberto Saldaña, and Hector Caballero. The family would like to give a special thank you, to the staff at Angel Bright Hospice for their loving, tender care during her final days. Family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 3 pm to 9 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 10 am at Christ the King Catholic Church; burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
