Sylvia Hernandez

Sylvia Hernandez passed away on January 27, 2017 at the age of 65. She was born on January 13, 1952 in Brownsville, Texas to Arnulfo and Ofelia Vargas. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hector Hernandez; daughter, Desiree Hernandez; parents, Arnulfo and Ofelia Vargas. Sylvia is survived by her sons, Wesley Hernandez, Sr., Adrian Hernandez, Steven Hernandez; sisters, Rosa Vargas, Grace Vargas, Zulema Zarate; brothers, Alfred Vargas, Arnold Vargas, Arthur Vargas, Mando Vargas, Tony Vargas; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends and family from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.
