Thelma R. Hoy

Thelma R. Hoy, age 81, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and will be dearly missed. Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Minnie Hoy; sister, Maysie Bernaldi; and brother, Joe Hoy. She leaves behind her loving children, Brenda Green, Craig Mizes, Dean Mizes, and Randy Mizes; grandchildren, Otis Mizes, America Mizes, and Michelle Mizes; great-grandchildren, Sh'rae Mizes, Darren Mizes, Quinton Hall, Teule Deal, Karla Mizes, Derrick Mizes, Kristian Mizes, Janie Mizes, Michael Mizes, and Maggie Mizes. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Graveside service will then take place on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 11:00 am with military honors at Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery. Services will conclude with a dove release.
