Thelma F. Villarreal

Thelma F. Villarreal passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the age of 83. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She will be truly missed by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Macedonio G. Villarreal, Sr.; sons, Macedonio G. Villarreal, Jr. and Hector Villarreal; daughter, Yolanda V. Lopez.

Thelma is survived by her children, Thelma V. (Ramiro) Esquivel, Sylvia Villarreal, Robert F. (Geneva) Villarreal, Hope V. (Tommy) Williams; daughter-in-law, Frances Villarreal; son- in-law, Jesus G. Lopez; grandchildren, Paul Eric Esquivel, Rebekah Yvette Aleman, Ramiro Esquivel III., Chica Lopez, Melissa Villarreal, Natalie Marie V. Flores, Mary Frances V. Joffre, Macedonio G. Villarreal, III., Hector Villarreal Jr.., Ricky J. Torres, Stephanie Valadez, Christine Westmoreland, Sarah Mendez, Abel Frias, Kelsey Rodriguez, Ryan Rodriguez, and Christopher Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Eric Gabriel Esquivel, Alyssa Danielle Esquivel, Paul Anthony Esquivel, Sarah Esquivel, Mary Esperanza Esquivel, Jessykah Yvette A. Esquivel, Anastasia Marie Aleman, Isabella Esperanza Aleman, AnaLisa Jennovy Esquivel, Herculus and Cosmos Villarreal, Zeke and EJay Flores, Trae, Ares, Callopy Villarreal, Maddie and Guero Villarreal, Tristan and Jacob Valadez, Brandon, Gabriella, Aaliyah, and Landon Westmoreland, Julius, Liliana Mendez, and Abigail Frias; and many extended family members. A special thank you to her niece, Leticia R. Rodriguez and her sons, Ramon, Rogelio, Rene and Ray Rodriguez, and her niece, Patricia Fields Olgin, from Houston, Texas, and to her nieces and nephews Ramirez form San Benito, Texas. Will be missed by her comadre Rosa Rodriguez and Lucy Soliz.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port., from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the evening; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. A chapel service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Treviño Funeral Home. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
