Theodore "Ted" Longoria, Jr., a man of boundless love and kindness, passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 58. Born in the summer of 1966, Ted's life was one marked by dedication to his family, a passion for his work, and an unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys. His gentle demeanor and friendly smile were a source of comfort and joy to all who knew him. Ted's devotion to his beloved wife, Rosario V. Longoria, was the cornerstone of his life. Together, they created a family filled with love and laughter. His daughters, Corrie Maradiaga, Mariah Longoria, and Adriana Gonzalez, and his sons, Gilbert Villanueva (married to Sylvia) and Mike Gonzalez, were the pride and joy of his life. Ted's role as a father was one he cherished deeply, and he instilled in his children the values of compassion and kindness that he himself embodied. His legacy continues through his 16 adoring grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who will forever hold the memory of their grandfather in their hearts. Ted was a loving brother to Theodore Longoria, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories. He was a cherished son of Theodoro Hernandez and was lovingly raised by his stepfather, Theodero Camacho. His family meant the world to him, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. Ted's life was touched by the loss of his brother, Gilbert Hernandez, and his mother, Corena Camacho, who both preceded him in death. Throughout his career, Ted was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He took great pleasure in his work and was actively involved in various associations, where his friendly nature made him a beloved colleague and friend. His coworkers often remarked on his loving approach to life, which made every workday a little brighter for those around him. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Ted's enthusiasm for his team was infectious. He brought the same passion and loyalty to his interests as he did to every aspect of his life. Those who knew Ted would fondly recall how his eyes lit up and how animated he became whenever he talked about his team, sharing moments of triumph and defeat with equal fervor. Ted's life can best be described by the words loving, kind, and friendly. He approached each day with a heart full of love and a readiness to help others. His kindness was a beacon that drew people to him, and his friendship was a gift that many had the privilege to receive. Ted's warm spirit and generous nature will be dearly missed, but his influence on the lives of those he touched will endure. As we say goodbye to Theodore "Ted" Longoria, Jr., we are reminded of the beauty of a life well-lived. A life that, though it has reached its sunset, leaves behind the warm glow of cherished memories and the legacy of a man who was truly loved. Ted's life story is one of unwavering love, and it is with that love that we will remember him, now and always.
