Theodoro P. Contreras, Sr.

Theodoro P. Contreras, Sr., passed away on September 7, 2020 at the age of 87.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  Theodoro was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, uncle, and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his son, Victor Contreras; daughter, Rosalina C. Gonzalez; and parents, Mauro and Angelita Contreras.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dora N. Contreras; sons, Eduardo Contreras, Oscar Contreras, and Theodoro (Judy) Contreras, Jr.; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 5 PM to 9 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6 PM.  A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Monday, September 14, 2020, at 11:30 AM at Treviño Funeral Home.  A Funeral cortege will depart the funeral chapel at 12:30 PM to Memory Gardens Cemetery for Rite of Committal and Interment at 1 PM.

Face masks must be worn and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
