A native son of Alice, Butch attended school in Lindale, Texas, laying the foundation for a work ethic that would define his professional and personal life. His career spanned diverse fields including the oil field industry, construction, and pest control. Beyond his professional achievements, Butch’s personality shone brightly. He possessed a wonderful sense of humor and was known for his humility and deep love for his family. Music played a special role in his life; he enjoyed playing his guitar and singing his favorite songs surrounded by loved ones. Butch was also an avid follower of current events, tuning in to CNN at all hours to stay informed about the world while enjoying music videos through his earphones. His enthusiasm for the Dallas Cowboys football games and the pleasure he took in his favorite beverage during those moments remain fondly remembered by those who knew him.

He leaves behind his siblings Benito Flores, Berta Flores, Benilda Melchor, Belia Garcia, Balbina (Benito Sr.) Ramirez, Pedro Flores Jr., Nora Balboa, Rene (Lori) Flores, and Melissa (Eddie) Gonzalez.
