Valdemar M. Martinez

Valdemar M. Martinez passed away on November 10, 2019 at the age of 77. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, nephew, and uncle.  He will be missed by those whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Valdemar A. Martinez.

Valdemar is survived by his wife, Ester A. Martinez; daughters, Lissette (Carlos) Amador; Zoivette (Agapito) Elizondo, and Stephanie (Eli) Imhoff; son, Anthony (Jennifer) LaPorte; six grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; sisters, Thelma Bell, Lavern (Jose) Soto, and Diana Martinez; brothers, Augustin (Betty) Martinez, Juan Manuel Martinez, Robert Martinez, Edward (Monica) Martinez, and Danny Martinez; aunt, Juanita Morin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at Elim Assembly of God Church; with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at Elim Assembly of God Church. Rite of Committal and Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
