Victor Ernesto Alvarez, Sr.

Victor Ernesto Alvarez Sr. passed away on June 14, 2020.  He was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, great-grandson, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and friend.  His family was everything to him.  He loved his wife of 24 years and especially loved his momma.  His boys made him so proud like no other, they were his everything!  Victor was the type of guy to make friends with everyone he met.  He was very caring to his animals, especially his birds and his dog.  Victor was a family man who liked to take his family out to the park, lake, and beach.  The beach was his favorite.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

Victor is survived by his wife, Kathryn Alvarez; sons, Victor (Alyssa) Alvarez, Jr., Emanuel (Janitsa) Alvarez, Adrian Alvarez (Navaeh Martinez), and Xxavier Alvarez; mother, Maria Victoria Cruz; step-dad, Howard Reyes, Jr.; father, Victor Alvarez (Elda); paternal grandparents, Juan (Helen) Alvarez; paternal great-grandfather, Julio Soliz; siblings, Vanessa Alvarez (Eddie Hernandez) and Vance Alvarez (Crystal); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive condolences from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.  A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 10:00 am at Treviño Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
