Victor Havelka, Jr., born September 24, 1951. Surrounded by loved ones, he was called home after a courageous battle on August 13, 2016, at the age of 64. Following in his father's footsteps in the grocery business, Victor was the youngest butcher, as well as the youngest manager at Handy Andy. He then went into the refinery business, starting at Saber Refinery which later became Valero Refinery. He pursued his dream career as a pro-am bass fisherman. Vic loved fishing, hunting and working his gun shows, however His faith in God came first and foremost. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor Sr., and Theresa Havelka; brother, Ronnie Havelka, and brother-in-law, Mitchell Price. Victor is survived by his siblings, Roxanna Havelka, Mary Havelka, Michael (Judy) Havelka, Elizabeth Price, Mark (Cris) Havelka, Suzan(Butch) Rowe, Dorothy(Eddie) George, Melissa(Raymond)Polasek, Gerad Havelka; 23 nephews and nieces, 21 great-nephews and nieces, and 1 great-great nephew; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 7 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help to recite a Holy Rosary. Rites of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 2 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
