Vincent Mata

Vincent Mata passed away on July 3, 2021 at the age of 32.  He was a loving husband, father, son, son-in-law, grandson, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his stepmom, Michelle Mata; grandfather, Diego Mata; grandmother, Ramona Mata; and uncle, Johnny L. Mata.

Vincent is survived by his wife Lorraine Mata; daughters, Mariah McKenzie Mata, Marissa Mae Mata, Alicia Salazar, Layla Amor Mata, and Liyda Victoria Mata; mother, Teresa Fuentes; father, Victor Mata Sr; sister, Stephanie Ann Mata; brother, Victor Mata Jr; step siblings, Daniel Garza and Marie Garza; grandmother, Rosa Fuentes; mother-in-law, Mary Alice Gomez; sister-in-law, Jessica Morales; brothers-in-law, Adrian Gomez and Matthew Morales; nieces and nephews, Malaya Mata, Victor Mata III, Alexis Nicole Mata, Camia Zamora, Mark Anthony Zamora Jr; Abel Gomez, and Adrian Gomez Jr; and numerous extended family members.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St @ Port; with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that evening.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
