Viola Annie Harris

Viola Annie Harris passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 64. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert B. and Charlene Powell, and sister, Charles Etta Webb.

Viola is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Freddie Lee Harris, Sr.; children, Lashawda Harris, LaToya Harris, and Freddie Lee Harris, Jr.; grandchildren, Elisha Johnson and Lashiyah Guzman; sisters, Lillian Fowler, Nettie Roland “Nippy”, Brenda Ridolph “Dinky”, Versie Schockley “Tiny”, Patricia Powell “Mike”, Jacqueline Powell “Kay Kay”, Eddie Mae Powell “Dirt”, Gwendolyn Smith “Thont”, and Wula V. Ware; brothers, Aurthur Powell “Jabo”, Kenneth Powell “Ken Ken”, and Andrew Powell “Buddy”; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Calvary First Baptist Church, 2906 Carver Dr; with a Funeral Service to be begin at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
