Walter Ray Forge

Walter Ray Forge passed away on June 26, 2021 at the age of 60.  He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorine Jones Forge; grandson, Deylin White; grandmother, Carrie Jones; grandfathers, Walter Lee Jones and James "Buck" Forge; brother, James Forge III; sister-in-law, Kimberly Forge; aunts, Juanita Jones and Shirley Forge Miller; uncles, Dee Dee Forge, Sammy Lee Forge, and Alfonso Jones; and nephew, James Thomas.

Walter is survived by his daughters, Tershia Perryman and Tisheaux Turner; five grandchildren; father, James "Pete" Forge Jr; brothers, Kenneth Forge, Lorenzo (Algeree) Forge, Fredrick Forge, Jason Forge, and Trae Thompson; sisters, Leatrice (Jonathan) Gillis, Susie (Eric) Murray, Mildred (Sam) Daniel, and Shamekia Forge; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. (Matthew 5:8)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Chapel service to begin at 11:00 AM.  Services will conclude in the chapel.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
