Walter H. Tamplet, Jr. "Sunny", age 71, a retired naval officer, passed away on August 5, 2015. He leaves behind his loving wife, Melida Diaz-Tamplet of 52 years; daughter, Elida Tamplet; son, Robert A. Tamplet; grandchildren, Steven Edmunds, Jessica Fischer, Curtis Tamplet, Austin Tamplet; great-grand daughter, Henley Fischer. The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home 120 E. Front St Alice, TX from 10 am to 12 pm; with a Prayer service to be held at 11 am.
