Staff Sgt. Willie E. Stallion, age 70, passed away on February 27, 2016. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 22 ½ years, and served in the Vietnam War from 1968-1972, where he received 2 Purple Hearts and the Silver Star. He enjoyed what he fought for and lived life to the fullest. Willie was a loving husband and an amazing grandfather and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Jane Stallion-Bolden. Willie is survived by his loving wife, Tricia Stallion; daughters Andrea Lashawn Stallion, Oklahoma City, Ok, and Vanessa Bolden; sons, Ric Bolden, Roc Bolden, Edward Stallion, and Antrevon Bolden; Sister, Laura Lloyed; brothers, Norman Bolden and Pastor Robert Bolden; nieces, NáNá Milton and Angel; nephew Richard Lloyed; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port from 11am to 1pm, with a Memorial Prayer Service to be held at 1pm. Inurnment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
