Yldifonza L Enriquez

Yldifonza (Ella) Llanes Enriquez, 95, was called home by our Lord and Savior on the morning of March 10th, in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born to parents Vicente M. Llanes and Guadalupe F. Llanes on January 23, 1930, in Breckenridge, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vicente M. Llanes and Guadalupe F. Llanes; her sisters, Esperanza Lopez, Victoria Bernal, and Monica Stone; and her brothers, Frutoso Llanes, Nicolas Llanes and Antonio Llanes.

She is survived by her son, Hector Llanes Enriquez (Esperanza (Hope)) of Beaumont; her grandchildren, Ricardo Enriquez (Elvia), Melinda McCall (Rick), and Esther Marks (Justin); her siblings, Claudia Lairon, Mary Flowers Strehlau, Genoveva Longoria (Beva), and Linda Ibarra (Rey); twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who called her “Tia Ella.”

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith in the Lord, love for her family, strength, beauty, and independence.

Our family would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who took part in taking care of our mother (grandmother). Although there are too many to mention individually, our family would like to give special thanks to our cousin, Olivia Llanes Rea (Libby), for her love, kindness and compassion. Libby has always been there to give her Aunt Ella a helping hand. We appreciate it very much.

A Memorial Service honoring Yldifonza (Ella) Llanes Enriquez’s life will be celebrated on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave., from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Services will conclude in the Chapel that morning.
