Obituary

It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Yolanda Dinn, who left us on March 28, 2026. Born on March 2, 1953, Yolanda was a remarkable woman known for her very outgoing personality and a zest for life that brightened the days of everyone around her.

Yolanda’s vibrant spirit was beautifully expressed through her love of music and dance. She enjoyed all kinds of music, finding joy in movement and rhythm, especially during family gatherings where her laughter was an ever-present melody. The Christmas holiday held a special place in her heart, a season she truly loved and cherished. Her creative talents extended beyond dancing; she found pleasure in painting ceramics and coloring, activities that allowed her artistic spirit to flourish. Yolanda also delighted in playing Bingo, savoring the fun and camaraderie it brought. She had a gentle and nurturing side, which shone brightly in her love for playing with babies, embracing the innocence and joy they brought with warmth and tenderness.

Family meant everything to Yolanda, and she was fortunate to be surrounded by a loving extended family who cherished her deeply. She is survived by her sister, Diana Garcia; her nieces, Amanda Dinn (David), Ashley Pena (Alfred), and Jennifer Dinn; and her nephews, Simon Garcia, David Dinn Jr., and Anselmo Dinn. Her family circle also included her aunt, Elida Galan (Pete), as well as numerous cousins and extended family members. Yolanda’s legacy endures also through her great nieces and nephews, Gabriela, Uzziah, Benjamin, Alfred M. Jr., and Alister, who were a source of delight and joy in her life.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lillia Martinez, and father, Mike Dinn. She also mourned the loss of her brother, David Dinn Sr., her grandmother, Beatriz Martinez, and her great-nephew, Myles Hernandez.

Her passing leaves a void felt deeply by all who knew her, but Yolanda’s lively spirit, boundless energy, and unwavering love will remain forever etched in the hearts of her family and friends. As they remember her warmth and the many ways she enriched their lives, they celebrate a life lived fully and with great joy.

To Yolanda Dinn, a cherished soul whose light will continue to shine in the memories and stories that those she loved hold dear. May she rest in peace.

Yolanda’s family will receive condolences on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St @ Port Ave, with the Holy Rosary to begin at 6:30 PM. Services will conclude that evening.
