Yolanda Flores Gonzales

Yolanda Flores Gonzales passed away on September 9, 2018 at the age of 80. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Yolanda will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Gonzalez; parents, Valdemar and Idolina Flores; niece, Sylvia Ann Hernandez; and nephew, Arnold Flores.

Yolanda is survived by her son, Gilberto (Dora) Gonzalez; daughter, Alma Rodriguez; sister, Hermelinda Flores; brothers, Valdemar Flores, Jr. and Homer Flores; grandsons, Guadalupe (Brittany) Rodriguez of Odem, TX., Mark (Jamie) Rodriguez of Odem, TX., Elliot Gonzalez and Jeremy Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, TX.; granddaughters, Makayla Rodriguez of Portland, TX., Juliet Rodriguez, Jaylynn Rodriguez, and Khloe Rodriguez of Odem, TX.,; and numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.

Honoring Yolanda as pallbearers will be Guadalupe Rodriguez, Mark Rodriguez, Eric Flores, Arturo Flores, Sonny Flores and Jeremy Gonzalez. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Elliot Gonzalez, Brandon Arriola, Dylan Arriola.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port, with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. The funeral cortege will depart the funeral home chapel on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
