Yolanda Gonzalez

Yolanda Gonzalez passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 68.  She was a loving wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anastacio Canales and Estella Cantu Canales; brother, Hector Daniel Canales; and great-grandson, Daniel Elijiah Ponce.

Yolanda is survived by her husband, Tomas Gonzalez; daughters, Maribel Gonzalez of San Antonio, TX and Marissa Rios (Rene Vela); step-children, Tomas Gonzalez, Jr, Martin Gonzalez, Elva Cavazos, and Monica Perez; five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Blanca Huges (Carlos), Sylvia Olivares, Cynthia Buentello (Manuel Hinojosa), and Palmira “Pam” Rodriguez (Fidel); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St.; with a rosary and funeral liturgy to begin at 12:00 PM.  A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 1:30 PM to Rose Lawn Cemetery where Mrs. Gonzalez will be laid to rest.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
