Ysaac S. Acuña, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on August 24, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on April 26, 1942, in Alice, Texas, Ysaac lived a life dedicated to both his work and his family.
For many years, Ysaac dedicated himself to the Gentry Company, where he honed his skills and showcased his passion for mechanic work. He was known for his talent and dedication, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike. However, beyond his career, Ysaac was deeply committed to his family, cherishing every moment spent with them.
Ysaac is survived by his devoted wife, Mary F. Acuña, his children, four brothers, four sisters, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Each of them carries treasured memories of their time with him, a testament to his loving nature and the bonds he cultivated throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Antonia Acuña, and his brothers, Rito Acuña, Carlos Acuña, Crecensio Acuña, and Guadalupe Acuña. The loss of Ysaac leaves a void that will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on September 4, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St, Corpus Christi, TX 78405; followed by recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass in his honor will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 540 Hiawatha Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, on September 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Ysaac S. Acuña will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the love he shared with those around him. His legacy continues through his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
