Allyson Arden Spells was born on October 15th, 1983, in Ingleside, Texas and she left this world on September 15th, 2023. She was a long-time resident of Corpus Christi. Ally was a true artist, animated storyteller, loved listening to live music, stubborn, outspoken, friendly to all, protective, a Libra to the core, and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.
Our loss is immeasurable, and we can’t imagine a world without her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Martha, and Clayton Spells; sister, Amanda Marker; mother, Michelle Drake, grandfather, Bernerd Drake; and Uncle, Jimi Beckner.
She is survived by her loving son, Ryley Mercurio; her father, Norman Spells; and Bonus Dad, Ronnie Maddox; her sisters, Ashley Spells-Hayes and Avery Dunn; and her brother, Adam Hunt. Also surviving her are her nieces, Zoe and Asayla; nephew, August; great-nephew, Akira; her uncles Michael and Mark Drake; and grandmothers, Evadee Tucker-Thomas, and Vicki Drake. She leaves behind her family, her friends, and her sweet dog CC to grieve and come to terms with her untimely loss. All who are broken hearted and who will miss her beyond words.
Services will be Saturday, September 23rd at 7:00pm in Port Aransas, Texas at Mile Marker 18 on the beach.
