Arnoldo Saenz, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2023, in his hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on December 19, 1959, to Lorenzo and Adelaida Albessa Saenz, Arnoldo was a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi and was known for his friendly and loving nature.
Arnoldo was preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo Saenz, and his grandparents. He is survived by his devoted wife of many years, Martha Lynn Saenz; his loving mother, Adelaida Albessa Saenz; his sons, Adan Lorenzo Saenz and Abraham Lee Saenz and daughter-in-law, Maria Victoria Saenz; his daughter, Angel Rae Saenz; his grandchildren, Steven and Jeremiah Trevino, Ariel Renessa Contreras, Mercedes Rae Saenz, and Adan Lorenzo Saenz Jr.; his brother, Rene Saenz; his sisters, Maria Elisa Garza and Emily Saenz; loving sister-in-law Celia Reyna; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.
Arnoldo was a hardworking and dedicated individual who earned an Associate's degree in Welding. He was passionate about his work and took great pride in his skills. His strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family were evident in everything he did.
Arnoldo's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who always put the needs of his loved ones first. His warm and friendly nature made him a favorite among his many friends and acquaintances, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
An avid outdoorsman, Arnoldo enjoyed barbecuing and fishing in his spare time. He was known for his delicious BBQ recipes, which he loved to share with family and friends at gatherings. His love for fishing was a passion he shared with his children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories on the water.
Arnoldo's loving and friendly nature will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will always remember him for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
Please join us in celebrating Arnoldo's life and honoring his memory on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM with Liturgy of the Word to follow. Services will conclude that same evening.
