Benjamin Austin Resendez

Benjamin Austin Resendez passed away on July 28, 2020, at the age of 21. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, father, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Ray Ramos.

Benjamin loved horses; he spent countless hours at the ranch with his horses. He enjoyed fishing; but above all, he enjoyed being in the company of his family where laughter and good times were always had.

Benjamin is survived by his mother, Laura Lee Resendez-Hernandez; (Martin), siblings, Marissa Lauryna Hernandez, Westin Saenz, and Larry Saenz; son, Austin Lane Resendez; grandmother, Norma and Roque Resendez; great-grandma, Delia Jenkins (James); grandpa, Edward Mechell; aunt, Veronica Lee (Julian III) Garcia; uncle, Roque Resendez III (Alice); cousins, Alari Faith Garcia, Alayza Hope Garcia, Julian Enrique Garcia IV, and baby Rocky Resendez; godmother, Mary Pebbles Vasquez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
