Celia Ayala Galvan of San Antonio, Texas and a Houston, Texas native, passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 52. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Celia preceded in death by her parents, Adolfo Ayala, Sr. and Celia Vasquez Ayala.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, John Galvan; children, Kelsey Zuniga (Nicholas Otwell), Martin Charles Zuniga III, Christopher Zuniga (Joann Zuniga), and John Paul Arenas; siblings, Ignacio V. Ayala (Linda Ayala), Alyssa Ayala (Joe Perez), and Adolfo Ayala, Jr. (Sylvia Watts); nieces and nephews, Jazmyne, Alexzandra, Amaris, Avlei, Adolfo, and Erik; and grandson, Dylan Arenas.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 1:30 PM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
