Dora Montealegre Beltran Obituary

Dora Montealegre Beltran, affectionately known as Dorita, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on July 1, 1996, in Mixco, Guatemala, Dorita was a loving, optimistic, and selfless individual who touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Dorita was the cherished daughter of Dora Beltran and Byron Montealegre, and the beloved sister of Roberto Montealegre, Isabel Beltran, Alicia Beltran, Angel Beltran, Trinidad Rios Jr., Julia Rios, Katrina Rios, Christopher Rios, Michael Rios, and Jeremiah Beltran. She was also the best aunt to her nephew, Benjamin Rios-Beltran, who held a special place in her heart.

Dorita attended Miller High School, where she excelled academically and graduated with her classmates. Throughout her educational journey, she formed strong bonds with her teachers and peers, bringing light and laughter to every classroom she entered. Her favorite teacher, in particular, became a lifelong friend and confidante.

A woman of many interests, Dorita's days were often filled with the things she loved most. She began each morning with a hot cup of coffee, savoring the quiet moments before the day's activities commenced. Music was an integral part of her life, and she enjoyed listening to her favorite tunes as she went about her daily tasks.

Dorita was also an avid fan of Netflix shows and novelas, immersing herself in the stories and characters that filled her screen. Her love for reading extended beyond the television, as she often spent hours with her nose buried in a book, exploring new worlds and expanding her knowledge.

In addition to her love for reading, Dorita had a strong connection with her faith. She devoted time each day to read the Bible, striving to deepen her relationship with God and live a life guided by spiritual principles. This commitment to her faith was evident in her selfless and loving nature, which touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Dorita's creative spirit shone through in her passion for crafts, which she enjoyed both as a hobby and as a means of connecting with others. She often spent afternoons working on projects with her sisters and her nephew. Her creations brought joy to those who received them as gifts.

One of Dorita's greatest joys in life was spending time with her favorite nephew, Benjamin Rios-Beltran. The bond they shared was undeniable, as they spent countless hours laughing, playing, and creating cherished memories together. Dorita's love for her family was evident in the time and care she devoted to her relationships with each of her siblings and extended family members.

Dorita's life was marked by her loving, optimistic, and selfless nature, which left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her radiant spirit. Rest in peace, Dorita – your legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who carry your memory in their hearts.
