Elida R. Garza

Elida R. Garza passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 85.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro C. Garza, brother, Antonio Ramon, and sister, Irene R. Salinas.

Left behind to cherish Elida’s memories are her brother, Jesus Ramon (Imelda); daughter, Melissa Martinez (Sercan Yigit); sons, Ricardo Diego Garza, Raymond Garza (Bonnie), and Daniel Claudio Garza (Victoria); grandchildren, Clarissa Stubblefield (TJ), Claudessa D. Flores(Armando), Antonio Verdin, Marcos Garza, Diego Garza, Seth Garza, Michael Jameson, Nina Maldonado(Joe), Chantilly Garza, Raymond Garza, Jr, Daniel Claudio Garza, Jr, Jonathan Daniel Garza(Felisha), Joshua Pedro Garza, Darmond Garza, and Joel Garza; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 11:30 AM. A   funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:30 PM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Pedro Garza passed away March 7, 2007 and his urn will be interred with his wife and will receive full military honors.
