Our beloved Esteban Costante Jr. of Robstown, Texas, passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 75. He was a loving and caring husband, father/stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend who touched the lives of those around him.
Esteban is proceeded in death by his parents, Frances Yzaguirre and Esteban Costante Sr.; stepfather, Enrique Yzaguirre; brother, Rick Yzaguirre; mother-in-law, Antonia Salinas; and grandson, Javier Morales Jr.
Esteban is survived by his wife, Graciela Costante; his children, Albert Costante (Angelica), Paul Anthony Costante, and Krista Tinajero (Mario); siblings, Paula Trevino (Israel Trevino), Antonio Costante (Mary), and Gilbert Yzaguirre; grandchildren, Sabrina Garcia, Sophia Garcia, Gage Shelly and Isabella Costante; and great-grandchildren, Daxton R. Gonzalez, Sienna K. Garcia, and Rylee M. Reyes. Followed by his stepchildren, Javier, Rene Morales (Ruby), Richard Morales (San Juanita Rodriguez), Tania Morales, Yvette Ramos (Leonard), and Yvon Morales (Felipe); step grandchildren, Marisa Morales, Rene Morales Jr, Richard Morales Jr, Rhianon Morales, Raina Morales, Kim Barrientez, Ava Benavides, Aaron Benavides, Marcos Morales, Maximus Morales, Leonard Ramos Jr, Miguel Ramos, Donny Ramos, Daryl Ramos, and Diana Morales; and step great-granddaughter, Ivy Grace Ramos.
Esteban dedicated his life to the United States Army where he bravely fought in the Vietnam War. He was a very proud veteran and always helped others in need. Esteban was a dedicated worker and worked for Koch Refinery for many years and made many friends there. Esteban loved being outside with his wife as they worked on their plants and loved taking care of their cats. He also loved listening to Tejano music and dancing with his wife. Esteban will always be known for his devotion, love, and caring demeanor towards everyone he met. It’s never goodbye, just see you later.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, May 2, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:00 PM to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Holy Rosary to be recited at 1:00 PM and a mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated 1:30 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Robstown Cemetery at 3:30 PM.
Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
