Favian Garcia

Favian Garcia passed away on December 29, 2019 at the age of 69.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adan and Leonora Garcia; grandparents, Favian and Maria Concepcion Garcia; and brother, Henry Garcia.

Favian is survived by his wife, Evangelina “Vangie” Garcia; daughters, Heather and her husband Kenneth Broom of Las Vegas, NV and Hilary Hudson of Corpus Christi, TX; son, J.R. and his wife Soni Garcia of Houston, TX; stepsons, Brian Rodriguez, Robert Tamyo, Jr., Anthony Tamyo, and Issac Tamyo; siblings, Frank Garcia, Leonora Garcia, and Mary Lou Cruz; grandchildren, Alyson, Ashytn, Byron, Hunter, Victor, and Celine; 14 step-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

 The family will receive condolences from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, January 6, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.   A Funeral cortege will depart at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, to Holy Family Catholic Church where a mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 PM.

Honoring him as pallbearers will be J.R. Garcia, Greg Garcia, Adan Garcia, Mario Garcia, Ernie Garcia, Brian Rodriguez, Rene Cruz, Jeremy Posada.
