Felicia Ann Franco, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on August 31, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on September 29, 1987, Felicia lived a life filled with love, joy, and strength that touched everyone around her.
Felicia was a woman of many talents and a heart full of compassion. She was known for her radiant smile, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering faith. She was a beacon of light and a source of strength for her family and friends. Felicia's spirit was undeniably vibrant, and her love for life was evident in everything she did.
Raised in a loving family, Felicia was the cherished daughter of Flora Fay Flores and Martin Franco, whom she was preceded in death by. She is survived by her devoted mother, Flora Fay Flores and stepfather, Adam Muguerza; her caring sister, Amanda Fay Franco; and her supportive brothers, Johnny Joe Garcia (Emma) and Jonathan James Franco (Brianna). Felicia also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Juan A. and Yolanda Flores and paternal grandparents, Antonio and Amada Franco.
Felicia's professional life was as varied and impactful as her personal one. She was an accomplished electrician, a career that showcased her technical prowess and her eye for detail. Her colleagues admired her for her work ethic and her ability to make even the most complex tasks seem effortless.
Felicia had a special place in her heart for animals, particularly the dogs she had who were waiting for her, Lestat, Yoda, and Beast. Her pets were more than just companions; they were her family. Felicia's love for her animals reflected her kind and nurturing nature, and she often said that they brought her immense joy and comfort. She loved her cats, Jack and Jill, as well as Tinker Train.
Felicia's passing leaves a void that can never be filled. However, her memory lives on in the hearts and minds of those she left behind. Her family and friends will forever cherish the time they spent with her, the lessons they learned from her, and the love they shared with her.
Felicia Ann Franco was a remarkable woman who lived a life full of passion, purpose, and love. Felicia’s family will receive condolences on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port Ave; with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 PM that evening. A Chapel Service will begin at 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Treviño Funeral Home and services will conclude in the chapel.
