Fidel Soliz Tagle

Fidel Soliz Tagle, a beloved family man, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on April 9, 1939, in Robstown, Texas, Fidel lived a life marked by love, integrity, and a strong commitment to his family and friends.

Fidel was the cherished husband of Sipriana Morales Tagle, wife of 54 years. Their bond was an inspiring testament to the power of love, and their enduring partnership was a guide for their three sons, Fidel Jr. Tagle (Paula Sanchez), Rudy Tagle, and John Tagle (Monica Alvarado Tagle), and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Fidel also had five daughters, Bernadette Aggen, Cynthia Brown, Debbie Garcia, Dina Velasquez, and Doralinda Hernandez.  He was also the beloved brother of Lupe Morales, Linda Salazar, Florinda Cisnenos, Olivia Rendon, Beto Tagle, Manuel Tagle, Claudio (Jr.) Tagle, Fernando Tagle, and Felix Tagle. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Trevino, and brother, Fred Tagle.

Fidel was a man of great strength and resilience. He was known for his unwavering dedication to his family, and he instilled in his sons the importance of unity, respect, and perseverance. Fidel was a beacon of wisdom and guidance, not only to his immediate family but also to his extended family and friends. He was a man who believed in the power of love and kindness, always extending a helping hand to those in need.

Fidel's passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched. His life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Fidel Soliz Tagle will be remembered as a loving husband, a devoted father, and a caring brother. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations. May he rest in peace.

Fidel’s family will receive condolences on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St., Corpus Christi, Texas, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Services will conclude that evening.
