Guadalupe Perez, lovingly known as Lupe, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2023, in Texas at the age of 74. Born on January 25, 1949, in Santa Rosa, Lupe was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was a hardworking, loving, and friendly man who touched the lives of countless people throughout his life.

Lupe was the proud brother to Pablo Perez and the late Gilberto, Roberto, and Ismael Perez. He was also a cherished brother to Adela Rodriguez, Aurora Villanueva, Esther Armadillo, Refugia Perales, Juanita Perez, and Alicia Hernandez. Lupe was preceded in death by his dear sisters, Santos Costilla and Ermalinda Gomez. He was a beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, who will always remember him for his kindness, support, and love.

Lupe dedicated over 30 years of his life to working as a skilled butcher at Jerry's Grocery store. He was known for his attention to detail, commitment to quality, and his ability to make every customer feel welcome and valued. His colleagues at Jerry's Grocery store remember him as a reliable, hardworking, and friendly team member who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Outside of work, Lupe was a passionate fisherman who spent countless hours enjoying the tranquility and excitement that the sport offered. He was known to share stories of his fishing adventures with friends and family, often accompanied by a hearty laugh and a big smile. His love for fishing was infectious, inspiring many of his loved ones to join him in his favorite pastime.

Lupe was also a very handy person, known for his ability to fix or build just about anything. He was always eager to help others with their projects, whether it was fixing a broken appliance or building a new piece of furniture. His willingness to lend a hand and his skill with tools made him a valuable resource to friends and family alike.

Throughout his life, Lupe was a warm and loving presence in the lives of those who knew him. He was always ready to offer a kind word, a helping hand, or a shoulder to lean on when it was needed most. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
