Hilda Maldonado Bermudez

Hilda Maldonado Bermudez passed away on July 18, 2020 at the age of 57. She was born on January 1, 1963 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

 She is preceded in death by her husband, Isidro Bermudez; brother, David De Los Santos; and parents, Linda and Pedro Maldonado. 

 Hilda was always happiest when she was with family; always smiling and full of life. She especially loved her children and grandchildren. Hilda worked retail most of her life and made plenty of friends where she worked; places such as Kmart, Walmart, and Burlington. She made plenty of friends on the city buses, at doctor offices, and hospitals. Although she struggled with a lot of health issues, that didn't stop her from having fun and making people laugh. She made friends with just about everyone she met and she enjoyed the simple things in life. 

 Hilda was survived by her brothers, Ruben Maldonado and Oscar Maldonado (Corrina); sisters, Julie Mata (Danny) and Monica Garcia; three children, Vivian Bermudez, Valerie Bermudez, and Isi Bermudez (Nancy); step-daughter, Elizabeth Gross (Orlando); 10 grandchildren; and nephews, nieces, and cousins.  

 The family will receive condolences on Friday, July 31, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a memorial rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.   

 Trevino Funeral Home requires anyone attending funeral services wear a face mask due to the current pandemic.
