Ida-Liyah Krystiana Flores

Ida-Liyah “Baby Liyah” Krystiana Flores passed away into the arms of Jesus on October 5, 2023, at the tender age of 6 years old, in Corpus Christi, TX. After struggling with an inoperable brain tumor, she gently went home to heaven surrounded by her loving parents and close family members.

During her brief time here on this Earth, she enjoyed listening to Party In The USA and Believer. Her favorite colors were purple and black and got to eat as much pizza as her heart desired. She loved being held close by her Grandma Ida and will be greatly missed by so many. She was loved purely and deeply by all who met her. 

She is survived by her loving parents, Ida Evangelina Mota and David Flores Jr.; siblings, Ydalyah Flores, Xzayvier David Flores, Kamiyah Flores, and Isabella C. Flores; maternal grandparents, Rogelio Mota Sr. and Ida Lina Garcia; aunts & uncles, Rogelio Mota Jr. (Gina Mota), Michael (Nikki) Mota, Hermelinda Garcia (Jeremiah Torres), Ramon Garcia, Janice Flores (Kenneth), and Sabrina Flores Perez (Justin); paternal grandparents, David T. Flores and Norma Jean Flores; maternal grandmothers, Ida Weber & Eva Mota; and great- grandma, Josefina Escamilla; along with several cousins and extended family.

Ida-Liyah is proceeded in death by her great-great-grandfather, Juan G. Escamilla , great-grandparents, Eliodoro and Alicia Flores; uncle, Ramiro Flores; grandfather, Richard Canciano; uncles, Timothy Martin and Ricky Reyes; tia, Marina Cuevas; and grandfather, Severo Mota Sr.

Ida-Liyah’s family will receive condolences on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM and a Liturgy of the Word at 7:30 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that evening.
