JB “Bo” Osborne, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023, in his hometown of Corpus Christi. Born on December 8, 1948, Bo was a true Corpus Christi native who loved his community and lived his entire life in the city he called home.
Bo was a man of integrity and strength, known for his dedication and commitment to his family, friends, and community. His work ethic was unmatched, and his influence was felt by all who knew him. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Bo was a pillar of strength and a beacon of hope to many.
In his leisure time, Bo loved playing horseshoes. His competitive spirit and love for the game brought joy and laughter to many gatherings. He was also a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and he never missed a game. His passion for the team was infectious, and his enthusiasm was shared by his entire family. Above all, Bo cherished the time spent with his family and friends. His love for them was evident in his actions and his words, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Bo was preceded in death by his parents, JB Osborne Sr, Pat Patton, and Modina Patton; daughter, Tatiana Sanchez; sister in-law, Lynette Osborne; and his brother, Bill Osborne. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Ute Lazette Osborne; and their children, Tracie Osborne, Tina Osborne, Anthony Sanchez, and Shannel Sanchez. He also leaves behind his brothers, Ronnie Osborne and Karry Patton; his brothers-in-law, Peter Lazette and Terry Lazette; his nephews, Johnny Ray (Esme) Osborne and J.B. (Grace) Osborne; and many more nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Each of them held a special place in Bo's heart, and his legacy will live on through them.
Bo's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and dedication. He was a man who lived his life with purpose and passion, always putting the needs of others before his own. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who loved him.
