Jerry Wright

Jerry Wright passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020, at the age of 68, in Corpus Christi, Texas.  

He was a very fun, happy, go lucky person; his personality was his charm. He never meet a stranger and would greet everyone with a, “hello, how are you”; he was just Jerry. He was very knowledgeable about everything; music, movies, history, etc. He loved playing bingo, chalupa, and gatherings with family and friends. He was a great cook, always wanting to cook some dish for the family, and boy did he cook. Jerry graduated from Alice High School in 1970. He was a hair stylist for 20 years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Wright Sr.; his step-mother, Mary Wright; paternal grandmother who raised him, Guadalupe L. Wright; and sister, Maria Dolores Gutierrez.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Jesus (Saul) Wright and Joe (Martha) Wright; half brothers, Daniel (Hilma) Bueno and David Bueno; sister, JoAnn (Butch) Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be scheduled at a later date.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
