Obituary

Jesus Gonzalez Jr. passed away on December 16, 2020 at the age of 22.  He was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Manuel Rene Trejo; paternal great-grandparents, David and Eva Garza; and uncle, Mike Ramos Sr.

Jesus is survived by his wife, Elazira Gonzalez; children, John David Nieto, Zackary Gonzalez, and Jesus Gonzalez III; mother, Veronica (Antonio) Flores; father, Jesus (Kelsey) Gonzalez Sr.; sisters, Jalean Rene Gonzalez and Justyne Leann Trejo (Jordan Osborne); maternal grandmother, Margie Trejo; paternal grandmother, Annabel Castillo; and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, January 1, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Treviño Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
