Josephine Gonzales

Josephine Gonzales passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the age of 73.  She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jose Angel Gonzales; parents, Santos and Cayetana Gonzales; and grandfather, Benacio Z. Gonzalez.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jose Juan Gonzales; brothers, Teodolo (Janie) Pena, Sr. and Santos Gonzales, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, San Juana Gonzales and Virginia (Ernest) Castilla of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, May 2, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM.  A funeral liturgy will take place on Monday, May 3, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Treviño Funeral Home.  Services will conclude that morning and a cremation will follow.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
