Julia Garcia

Julia Garcia passed away on March 12, 2020 at the age of 75.  She enjoyed fishing and camping trips and family gatherings. As long as she was with her family, she was happy.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  Julia will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Cancino; grandson, Roland Alanis, Jr.; and parents, Eliseo and Dolores Salazar.

Julia is survived by her children, Linda Garcia (Roland Alanis), Edward Garcia, Melissa Garcia, and Ruben Cancino, Jr. (Jennifer); eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Reyes Salazar, Estella Salas, Eliseo Salazar, Jr. (Christina), and Irma Diaz; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, March 19, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020, at 10:00 am at Treviño Funeral Home. Services will conclude after chapel service.
