Mary Frances Romero

Mary Frances Romero passed away Saturday July 21, 2018, at the age of 73. She was a graduate of Valley Baptist Academy in Harlingen, Texas. Mary Frances was strong in her faith and a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Corpus Christi Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; Mary Frances will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Zaragosa G. Romero; parents, Domingo Sanchez and Angelita T. Sanchez; brothers, Frank Sanchez and Danny Sanchez.

Mary Frances is survived by three daughters, Betty (Paul) Spaulding of Edmond Oklahoma, Letticia (Frank) Obregon of San Antonio, Texas, and Aimee Romero (Rene Rodriguez) of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren, Diego, Malik, Adiana, Rene, Amberly, Lilliam, Ayden, Ian, and Tegan; brother, Juan Sanchez of Weslaco, Texas; sisters, Estela Moreno, Elena Ozuna, and Rosie Sanchez of Weslaco, Texas, Olivia Echevarria of Miami Springs, Florida, and Lucy Moreno of Harlingen, Texas.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 26, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port.; with a prayer service and eulogy at 7:00 p.m. A celebration of life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Mineral Cemetery in Mineral, Texas.
