Nancy Jane Quintanilla passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 79. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and a fantastic cook. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy was born and raised in Tampa FL, and later moved to TX with her family. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tilden, TX and was also a church lectura. She worked at American Airlines Reservations Sales, MetroMedia ITT L.D. Customer Service, Citicorp Customer Service, J.C. Penny and Sears Catalog Inbound, and the USPS as a clerk in Tilden, TX. She was also a rental agent and bookkeeper. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, scrapbooking, and home decorating.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy J. and mother, Bernice L. Tompkins; son, Terrance L. Hall, all of Tampa, FL; sister, Patricia A. and husband John M. Sandifer; niece, Robyn S, Wirtemberg, all of Live Oak, FL; aunt, Lois C. and uncle, Wiley D. Jones of Tampa, FL; aunt, Dorthy M. and uncle, Curtis D. Beene of Henderson TN; and aunt, Frankie C Locklear.
Left behind to cherish Nancy’s memories are her husband, Ignacio Quintanilla and son, Ricardo J. Quintanilla of Corpus Christi, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Valerie A. and Todd Finley of Spring Hill, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand and great grandchildren.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary and Liturgy of the Word to begin at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that same evening.
