Nelsa V. Hernandez

Nelsa V. Hernandez of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on September 13, 2020 at the age of 91. She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

Nelsa was preceded in death by her husband; Jose Antonio Hernandez, and parents, Jose and Olivia Valenzuela.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children; Maria H. Alvarez (Octavio Xavier), Juan Hernandez, Charles Hernandez, and Rose Lee (Russell); eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM.  A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 9:00 AM to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Monday, September 21, 2020. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.

Face masks must be worn and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
