Noe Omar Castillo

Noe Omar Castillo passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 49. He was born to Noe and Ignacia Castillo in Alice, Texas and was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Omar loved reading, learning, music, and talking. Once he began sharing what he knew you could not get him to stop, although that was never a problem, as his conversations were so engaging and knowledgeable you wanted to learn more from him. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Omar is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Raul and Domitila Esquivel, and paternal grandparents, Jesus and Carolina Castillo.

Left behind to cherish Omar’s memories are his parents, Noe and Ignacia Castillo; brother, Raul (Crystal) Castillo; sisters, Nora Castillo (Rene Zambrano), Dora (Vicente) Delval, Carolina (Pepe) Chavarria, and Noelia Naranjo; nieces, Jasmine Naranjo, Gabriella Castillo, and Daniella Castillo; nephews, Jacob Naranjo, Salome Naranjo, Leonardo Naranjo, and Raul Castillo Jr.;  aunt, Irene Moreno (Nicolas Chavez); cousins, Adan Moreno and Andres Moreno (Lora Jasso); and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Trevino Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St. from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM; with a Talk at 1:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 1:30 PM for Rite of Committal and Interment at R & C family Ranch Cemetery at 4801 W. Hwy 44, Alice, Texas.

Honoring Omar as pallbearers are Raul Castillo Sr., Adan Moreno, Andres Moreno, Jacob Naranjo, Salome Naranjo, and Leonardo Naranjo.
